Jesus shows the crowds that God watches over them with an everlasting love. He knows every detail of your life… including the number of hairs on your head. God knows what happens in all parts of creation… even with the birds of air. Such great care and attention to details must have surprised many people. They viewed God as someone distant and far away. Jesus shows that God knows each of us to a level of detail and personal insights that are hard to imagine. This should be a great comfort to all who believe. Everyday we enjoy the grace and mercy of God given to us through Christ. Be grateful to Him and then share that Good News to those around you.
Please give this verse to all who want to be closer to God. Ask if they have any idea about the number of hairs on their head. Ask if they have any estimate on the number of sparrows that there are in the world. It must be an immense number. This shows the contrast between how detailed He knows us AND He knows the details of the world and the whole universe. We get to have a personal relationship with God through His Son, Jesus. We pray for all the Sunday School teachers and leaders in our churches and fellowship groups. We include all of those who organize and conduct Vacation Bible School each summer. Due to the restrictions of the COVID-19 virus, many of these vital children’s ministries are put on hold for this year. Encourage them to offer variations of their classrooms… electronic meetings or video outreaches. We want to give kids creative and meaningful options to learn more about God and His great love for them. Stay blessed in all that you do. Pass it on to everyone that you know by sharing the Good News and by showing them just how much God loves them!
